That is not surprising to me. When I was at LSU, there were lots of students that took classes at both school, but most of the people that I knew in law were taking classes at Southern.

Southern has a good law school. This isn't news. Been that way for a long time.

This is for the February bar, which means many or most of those test takers are not first time takers, so take these results with a grain of salt.

Well neither of you can read because the stats were even more skewed for SULC for first time test takers

Southern performed better than LSU. Thoughts?
February is for all the dumb students that couldn't pass the July bar.

The really disturbing part is that the 4 La school were out performed by out of state schools.
Based on the LSAT/ GPA indicators that law schools use when admitting student, SULC does a much better job than LSU. LSU takes student that have on average a 155 or higher LSAT with above a 3.3. GPA. SULC takes students with LSAT scores in the 130 with GPAs in the 2.0s. LSU should outperform SULC every time just based on the type of student they accept. When you compare student with similar LSAT and GPA, SULC outperforms LSU. Simply put SULC does much more with less.
Another thing that is not taken into consideration is that SULC has a part time evening program, whereas LSU does not. The majority of full time law students do not work at either school. SULC's part time students work full time and take 11 hours a semester. SULC's bar passage is skewed because of the part time program.
SULC will have more Feb Bar taker because Dec is when many part time students graduate.
So dont knock SULC before you know all the facts.
