Beautiful pup. Sorry man.

Beautiful dog, you probably saved him a lot of pain and misery, sorry for you and your family’s loss. Dogs make the best friends.

Sorry for your loss. At groomers picking my two up. They are my children.

Praying for you man. Beautiful chocolate lab. I had two chocolates I had to put down due to cancer. Sucks but you’ll get through it. Get you a pup. Quickest way to get over it.

I have lost two chocolate labs. Both at 7 years. One of a cirrhotic liver and the other swallowed a bunch of stuff and went into shock basically.
Sorry for your loss.

Damn man, not much to say except I feel for you.
Lost my chocolate to a car right before he turned two. Worst thing of my life was finding my best friend dead on the road.
Your picture hit a sore spot as that caused a bad period of my life to begin. Startig with the depression of losing my dog.
It’s crazy how much they impact us.
I thought I’d never be able to get another lab, but I’m happy to say my current female is just as great as my chocolate, and while I miss him, she takes great care of me.

So sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is rough. He was a beautiful dog but not allowing him to suffer during his last days was the most loving gift you could ever give to your best friend and I'm sure he is grateful. Praying for you and your family.

Beautiful pup
Very sorry for your loss
“Dogs’ lives are short, too short, but you know that going in. You know the pain is coming, you’re going to lose a dog, and there’s going to be great anguish, so you live fully in the moment with her, never fail to share her joy or delight in her innocence, because you can’t support the illusion that a dog can be your lifelong companion. There’s such beauty in the hard honesty of that, in accepting and giving love while always aware that it comes with an unbearable price.” – Dean Koontz

We lost one suddenly last year.
Best thing we found to cope the first few days was a big jigsaw puzzle (2000pc) and played movies we had already seen. Between the puzzle and movie our minds were occupied and not left to ponder.

Your picture hit a sore spot
Didn't mean to dredge up any old bad feelings. That picture was taken when he was just 9 months old. He loved the beach. He was just a happy, goofy, lovable hunk of fur.
Gonna miss him, but our other dog needs us now more than ever. She's never been alone in her life. Always had him with her.

It is a great pic. Get it printed and framed. As the pain subsides, you will enjoy looking at him and remembering the good times.
