We bought tickets to Acropolis in advance. Definitely recommend this. There is a ticket for multiple sites you can get online in advance. The only bad thing for this ticket is it doesn’t get you into Acropolis museum which is awesome. It gets you access to other sights but for 2 days it is tough to ...

We are headed to Crete. It’s not the most popular but looks good for us. Big island, with lots of coastline, urban areas, and archeological sites. Definitely have to come back!...

On average about $15 a bottle. If we are on vacation, it would be more based on the local price averages. ...

We had to put our Brittney, Gussie down. He was 15 and lost the use of his hind legs. Also had vertigo, it was bad. We miss him so much. Sorry about this. Sucks...
Have several so sorry this is long, lol. Grew up in Lake Charles so we spent a lot of time on the water. We used to jump off grain elevators in ship channel. My and another guy rode on top of friend’s parents station wagon. We held onto luggage rack while he went 70 mph crossing overpass. Abo...

Come on Tigers!...
Great dogs. We had two for some time but lost the female about 5 years ago. She was from Chattanooga, TN. Our male is from North Alabama. Sorry, don’t have breeders info. they were both given to me be old friends. ...
We did a couple of years ago. It’s a small town so the family that bought it knew us. She showed us around, it was little weird. Used to have big windows in the back that were taken out because of termites. Also lost lots of trees from hurricanes, so yard was way different....

Crete Greece

Posted by Gilly on 8/9/23 at 2:32 pm
Anyone have any experiences from Greece trip? Specifically, looking for recommendations for the island of Crete. It looks like there is lots to do related to the outdoors, history, and beaches. We would likely stay in Athens for a day or two to see sites. Then take overnight ferry to island. It’s a ...
We just got back from trip in area. Stayed in Big Sur and it was amazing. Played Pebble and had dinner at Roy’s. However the drive to and back got old. It’s okay in daylight but nighttime for this flat lander was stressful. Monterey and just north might be better option. If your visiting Big Sur, d...

We drove several years ago and it was rough but finding parking was worse. If you’re a confident driver, you will be fine. We booked last minute in Sorrento at the Grand Hotel Royal. We had an amazing time. Used Sorrento as home base to explore Amalfi, Capri, and Pompei. Return flight to US was from...

We have been to Big Island twice. We love it! We stayed at the old Sheraton, I think it’s called something else. It the hotel with underwater lights that attract the manta rays. You should do the night snorkel, it’s amazing. Also, stayed at Fairmont Orchid. Was very nice....

We did ferry from St Martin to St Barts in 2022. Got kicked out of first class…oops. Boat ride was smooth sailing. Rented a car and spent the day at St Barts. We went to 2 beaches, then lunch at Nikki Beach. Took ferry back to St Martin. It was an expensive day!! ...
