I'm sitting in a room in a rehab facility watching my mother sleep. She got out of the hospital last Friday and will be here at least through the New Year depending on how she responds to physical therapy.

Amazing how fast they’ve grown. It’s crazy to think that I may be with a child of my own soon (test pending) and bringing her along to these events.

Spent the day volunteering to get petition signatures and then visiting my niece and nephew at my former sis in laws’ inlaws house.
ETA: I’ll be busy all day tomorrow with various family stuff so enjoying the calm and quiet now

Just left my parents house and dropped the kids off their mom's. This is the first Christmas in 4 years I've even been in the county so I'll take it. Now probably gonna mix a stiff one and watch a Christmas movie.

I am on the road working. Sitting in a hotel, it’s not too bad. First Christmas I have worked in years. Will be home frying turkeys for the kids on Tuesday.
