If you can’t see the danger of this guy getting in the way of a 757 and potentially killing a couple hundred people, I can’t help you. But yeah, muh elitists!!

I agree. And considering a lot of the inexperienced and non critical thinking pilots in the cockpit nowadays, by watching crash reenactments on TheFlightChannel on YT, we don't need to give them anymore possible problems to frick up a flight.

The first time I saw two or three of these contraptions come over my house a few years ago, it blew my mind.

I've seen them several times since. They look cool and like they'd be fun to fly/ride.

There used to be an old redneck baw who had a go cart rigged to a parachute thing and would fly around CenLa, but it was only like 100-200 feet up. I can't imagine 3,000 feet in a jetpack.

There’s 2 or 3 of those that fly around the Prairieville/St. Amant area somewhat frequently

Most of them aren’t commercial products and most people aren’t testing without permission right near an incredibly busy airport where the airspace is extremely controlled airspace. That’s why it’s news.

The fall from 100-200 feet will make you just as dead as the fall from 3,000 feet but with less time to think about it.

Yeh childhood intuition....[ruined] either way that shite was boggling when I saw it back in the mid 90s. Pretty awesome though, I now know what to put stimulus towards.

I love how freaked out he is making the government and air traffic folks.

I was wondering when the jet pack guy would show back up
