Hell yeah!

Does Louisiana not have any Love's Truck Stops? Those are pretty good, too.

That's not technically Huntsville, it is pretty much Athens....which will drive what's his name here crazy.

I wonder why they didn’t put one between Birmingham and Atlanta?

You really gonna add 2 hours to that just for a Buc-ees?

It’s roughly an hour extra but the drive on 20 and 22 is dreadfully boring. The more northern route is much more scenic

This guy gets it. Cleanliness is a pillar of Buc-cee's. Why open one in a place where the citizens will just trash it?

There isn’t a decent place to stop with a clean bathroom between the Louisiana welcome center and Chick-Fil-A in Lafayette on Interstate 10 East bound.

Boy this is the truth! That Racetrac was decent last year. I don’t know by now. The Loves at the Iowa exit is okay but not ideal still.

Bucee’s had originally agreed to build at the I12 - Millerville exit in Baton Rouge but backed out for some reason .

Yeah we we’re extremely disappointed - it was some nonsense that Buc-cees couldn’t secure multiple sites and they weren’t getting tax credits they thought they’d get

So once again the politicians screw Louisiana

Read that they didn’t get any tax credits for the one at the Orange Beach exit in Alabama. The local politicians said they simply said “no” when they were asked for. Location turned out great for them. The Leeds location just east of Birmingham on Interstate 20 should also be good.

Well, knowing Louisiana - the credits were probably promised and then taken back and who knows if the flooding had something go to do with it as well

Although, Buc-cee’s official reason they are not in Louisiana is that they couldn’t get multiple sites

But who knows - Buc-cee’s was supposed to open in Baton Rouge in 2016 - it took them 3 more years before they opened in orange beach (which was their first out of Texas - as you probably know)

A Buc-ee’s in Henderson would make a killing. Especially how often I10 east is shut down.

This is no bullshite. But Louisiana is going to Louisiana. Our slogan should be "We run businesses out and stop businesses from coming in... Unless you pay off the right people"..

Don't worry, Huntsville will annex it soon enough.

How close to one another are Buc-ees in Texas? There is one opening in East Birmingham in Leeds and I was wondering if another would open in another location in the B'ham area?
