Why would you not ask advice from those who may know?

Because the majority are losers who’ve gotten a divorce and are probably in there parent basement reading this.

You can learn just as much from defeats as you can from victories.

Experience if they listen.

I got the house, the nicer vehicle, no alimony, 50/50 custody, no child support.

I see Paul Allen and 08 are still hopelessly in love and not needing a divorce lawyer yet.

Can anyone recommend a divorce lawyer in BR area?

The consensus answer on here, based upon others who have more experience at this than you do right now is Karen Downs.

True

After all it did take Edison 1,000 tries before he succeeded in building the light bulb

So getting a divorce makes you a loser and the majority of those losers live in their parents basements?

"I fricked up in my divorce, here's what I did wrong."
"I did well in my proceedings, here's what I did right."

Both can be equally informative. Don't know why that makes me Oprah. I want every baw here to come out on the best possible end of a divorce, considering that the vast, vast majorities of divorce are initiated by women, and the majority of those are no-fault divorces. Don't want to see my brethren get financially arse-fricked because their woman got bored.

Go get a consultation from a few of the best and pick the one that you feel most confident about. If she goes to the ones you turned down, I think that’s some sort of conflict of interest and she can’t use them. Caveat: I am not a legal professional and I have not watched Judge Judy in years.

To me this isn’t a serious place and many see it that way as well. You have to pick through a lot of crap to get to what MIGHT be useful.

There will obviously be snarky/sarcastic/witty responses to the inquiry (as we have already seen), but there will also be informed, candid, and genuine answers. There is no cost for someone to ask here, so why not try?
