Happened to drive past this morning.

The trailer BBQ pit and Dixie cups (racist?) laying on the ground left a poignant reminder of how violence can end a good time in an instant.

I had a patient move to NOLA from San Fran only to get pistol whipped and robbed less than a week after moving there. Poor guy needed surgery to fix his broken face. Nothing changes your worldview quite like a negative experience with culcha.

Violence doesn't cause that. Claiborne and Elysian Fields as well as St Claude in the lower 9th look like that every Sunday and Monday morning.

No, this was Danvers. The RAX was further east of there on the other side of Lobdell. Now a used car lot.
