I've seen some extremely powerful flashlights that throw a beam incredibly far. I was wondering if anybody knows of a a good brand?

Had to re-read at least 3 times to make sure it said flashlight.

NiteCore EA41
Probably the brightest light around that doesn't use specialty batteries. Uses 4x AA

Do you have a budget in mind?
Have you thought about battery types?
Rechargeable or not?
Surefire is pretty pricey but has many options and are pretty high end.
This flashlight is a pretty good gift

If you are really looking for power, go to candlepowerforums.com and find something modded or custom.

Surefire makes really nice stuff but you're gonna pay for it. I have about half a dozen streamlights. No complaints and a fraction of the cost.

I only came here to see how long it took for someone to post about a fleshlight

Maglight. Those big ones cops carry around. Good beating sticks too in a pinch.

Pelican
IIRC fire depts use them, beam cuts through smoke
Could be wrong but they are still good flashlights

I have a nitecore EA4 that will light up a black hole. Smaller than a can of coke and runs on 4 AA batteries
