Where I live now multi millionaires will drive trucks that never see Home Depot but that they drive to business projects or whatever because there are fewer corporate jobs and more small to midsize businesses driving wealth.
So you are saying they drive trucks to fit in and not draw attention to themselves?

But the new truck is so comfortable and nice that I’d sell the tundra now if my son didn’t want it so bad.
That tundra will probably outlive that Ferd

Did you go through the “secondary air injection system” fiasco?

No.
I’m saying in non corporate areas many of the affluent people are business owners and contractors who drive trucks as corporate write offs whereas corporate workers are less likely to do that.

I drive a truck and work at a desk. I grew up in kind of a rural suburb and all the guys drove trucks. It's the only thing I've ever driven. I rarely tow anything, but I use the bed pretty often.
My wife has a sedan. I don't think I could get used to driving something else after 30+ years of driving a truck. I don't care about gas mileage or any of that.

I think that's a fine reason. I drive a truck because otherwise I come off as a little light in my loafers.
