Did NOLA fire all it's road crews or spend all it's money for hiring contractors to repair roads?

Enforcing vaccine mandates are more important than fixing roads and stopping people from getting murdered, guys.

If City Hall focused on any other issue 1/10 as much as covid, we might actually start seeing progress both economically and in quality of life. But alas, priorities…

The little raggedy house in the first pic is a little over 1,000 square feet, and $345k.

Maybe the potholes could be filled with the shell casings picked up at the various crime scenes.

I used to defend Baton Rouge. My sig quote said "suck it" to the haters. I have given up. House on the market. Moving back to the North Shore. It was a good run but the D mayors and Progressive policies have destroyed two of my favorite cities.

Sad part is that my dream was to buy a nice condo in the Warehouse District. I have wanted to live there since I was a kid. Just to be near the bars and restaurants. Thank God I didn't pull the trigger a couple of years ago or I would be stuck.

I look at these pictures and I just have to laugh when I compare it to what our well-run city is currently working on. They have been redoing the concrete slopes of the intersection sidewalks because the old grades might have been a bit too high. I swear I can't tell the difference in grades between the old and the new but apparently our city has money for it. And we really don't have excessive taxes to boot.
You guys can't get bomb crater potholes repaired while we are redoing the slopes on our sidewalks.

Amazing how people come here to defend this city and the Administration that is responsible for turning it into a third world city.

Agree! I moved from uptown in 2012. Of course it was after they stole most of my
Furniture, close , Guns, etc from me. Police could care less
Hope river levee breaks and washes it to the Gulf!

With a healthy bump in equity or at least a 20 percent increase in value.

It’ll be the best decision you make. It’s not like you have to live in the city or even metro area for that matter to enjoy parades, Jazz Fest, Saints games, etc.

Nolaplate is another up and coming one. It follows the phenomenon of people driving around with no license plate or fictitious ones.

Sewerageandwaterboard is seems to be defunct now. It was a good follow.
