Yep, and just like "Gilligan's Island", give me the cute, downhome girl next door and you can have the high maintenance arm candy that was Ginger and Jennifer.
Jan Smithers and Dawn Wells were beautiful women who came off as well grounded people with an appreciation for simple things in life.

Burt was odd in that even the people who liked him were somewhat split on him. He could be really cool and generous to a fault. And then turn around and be an inveterate a-hole to those closest to him.
