I hate dirty dishes in the sink but sometimes when I get really busy I will let them stack up for a few days. Longest since I've been an adult has been about a week. Though they were mostely just cerial bowls and few cups because I didn't have time to eat a real meal.

In college, when we wanted a dish to eat we took one out of the pile in the sink and washed it.

Don’t think I’ve ever been lost while leaving dishes in the sink.

One time I left a fork that fell down the drain.
It was pretty lost for awhile there.

My dipshit little cousin forgot to clean out the dishes at our deer lease before he left for the last hunt of the season. We didnt go back for another 5 months and by then that stuff had gone past the point of smelling bad

The sink is emptied every evening. Dirty dishes in the sink grosses me out and attracts bugs.

I don’t know. My wife usually gets to them eventually.

Yeah, my wife can't go to bed knowing there are dishes in the sink.
When she's out of town, I'll let them pile up until about 10 minutes before she gets home then scramble to get them in the dishwasher before she walks in the door.

As an adult, I wash dishes every night to ensure nothing is left in the sink. In my earlier days, I would go a week before I even looked at the sink.

I just put them in the dishwasher after i use them.

use paper plates and the problem of being lazy and not cleaning your dirty dishes goes away

You don't rinse your shite off, you just set it in the sink dirty still? Nasty. I rinse my shite and scrub any stuck parts with a brush every time and i set it on the counter next to the sink or straight into the dishwasher if it's not running.

No idea, I just put them in the sink and they are usually washed by the time I use another.

Never. My dishes go straight to the dishwasher.

I can't stand dishes in the sink.. I let stuff soak if there is crusty/baked on stuff on them. But not more than an hour or two. When cooking I learned clean up as you go..
