If you ever have kids, you're going to have to shite you don't want to do and its going to take your hard earned money to do it with. Having a wife is the same but at least she can help take care of your day to day needs and someone who you can confide in.
I do stupid shite all the time in front of my wife I would never have done if I were dating someone. I share every story, experience, ect with her and the same with her. There's something to be said about having someone that you can have that type of relationship with.

Sex isn't as important for me now (married 13 years) as it used to be. I haven't had any in over a month but I swear it's all my fault. We used to fool around a few times per week and I started a new medication and I think that's why my drive is down. She's disappointed of course but I am OK with it. Some married people still have sex.
