Longest you've called in sick for

But weren't really sick. Seems like a great way to get a free vacation once a year without having to use your actual vacation.
I've fake called in sick before but for no more than a day. I rarely get sick so I don't miss work often.

Did you shoot your fingers off at work yesterday?
ETA. To stay on topic, I may have called in sick one day when I wasn't sick a cpl of times. One job we just had PTO days, sick, vacation, didn't matter. Now, I work from home so it doesn't make a frick.
But if I ever called in sick, I was typically sick or had a Dr appointment. Now why I was sick is a whole other story.

One time I planned to take a Friday off and call in sick....then I actually did get sick Thursday evening and was in bed all weekend.

It's usually a much bigger hassle taking time off because of all the work that piles up. Not worth it.

Only thing even close was a hangover. And I think I went in at lunch. I physically could not go in. Technically I was "sick". Just don't know if that counts. Otherwise, I've never faked it.
