Almost 3 solid weeks. From south Arkansas to the east coast, then up to Maine. Back down to Niagara, then across Amish country to Indiana and back down.

I’m 33 and was blessed to have both sets of my grandparents until 2014. My dad’s parents used to take me and my 3 cousins on a road trip every summer. I traveled to all but 7 states with them, all by a Dodge Caravan except when we went to Hawaii. Great memories.

Started Knoxville Tn
to Boulder CO
through souther Wy to Jackson Hole to Yellowstone to Glacier

Then to Calgary, Jasper, through Canadian Parks to Vancouver, out to Vancouver Island and Butchart Gardens.

Then south to coastal Washington, coastal Oregon (stop in Eugene to visit friend), then to Coastal Ca, Sacremento, Las Vegas. (Checked dates and found we had one additional day) So to Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest, and to El Paso. Quick walk into Mexico to buy some junk, then back north with a stop in Santa Fe, and then back to Boulder. From there home.

With the exception of three or four nights, all the rest were tent camping and cooking at campgrounds.

This thread is a step below the "I've been through a worse natural disaster than you" competition when it comes to weird flexes.

Why are you reading?

It's actually interesting to hear people's experiences. There's not much motivation to embellish

Chicago to Nashville
Nashville to Houston
Houston to Palm Springs
Palm Springs to Las Vegas
Las Vegas to Chicago

All in 5 and half days. Was with a buddy of mine. We were so deprived of sleep that, I texted him to pull over at the next gas station because I had to pre. Of course we got into an argument before that because I wanted to go a different route home then he was taking. I act like a huge bitch when I don't sleep.

Knoxville to Deadhorse back to Knoxville on a Kawi KLR motorcycle.

That’s probably the most mileage, the most time on a bike was closer to a month doing a national park tour out west that started and ended in Knoxville as well. That was on a BMW 1200GS.

Yellowstone to somewhere in Montana to Spokane.
And then the longest drive ever. Spokane to northern Cali to Moab. One stretch.

We did Prudhoe Bay to Key West one summer (well, with a couple of weeks at home between the two). 3 months on the road in a VW camper, 13,000 miles. Georgia to Michigan UP, across to Montana, Canadian Rockies, Alaska Highway, all over Alaska, back through Glacier, Yellowstone, RMNP, home, rest, then Key West.

2 years later it was all over the west for 3 months. Texas Hill country, Big Bend, Grand Canyon, Death Valley, Yosemite, Tahoe, Lassen, Redwoods, Oregon coast, Crater Lake, Bend, Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens, Olympic Peninsula, Cascades, Idaho, Glacier, Yellowstone, Medicine Bows, home.
