I wanted that truck so bad when I was 15.

My younger sister had one when she was 15....and now that she is in her mid-50's she wants one again! (I'm sure that would change is she had to drive one again....no power steering, no power brakes)

A lot of collector's cars here that aren't remotely forgotten. You don't "see them" because no one is driving them a lot and putting miles on them. I see them listed for sale on Hemmings Motor News all the time.

It is the shite cars like the Vega that are "long forgotten."

not remotely rare, just "rarely seen" because collectors don't take them out on the road

The trans am and chevelle are not forgotten, or not around.

Cars like a Ford escort, fairmont, Ltd, dodge Omni, Mercury mystique, Chevy chevette and the likes are.

As far as "forgotten", the 4-door Chevelle. Most car guys don't even realize they existed in a sedan version.

I had a 72 Dodge Dart Sport for a long time in the late 2000s and early 2010s, and there were a lot of people that had no idea what it was. Dodge really fricked up with their new Darts, when they could've made another throwback that actually looks like the original and sold like hotcakes. The Dart was Dodge's version of a "compact" 2 door car at the time of the large original Challenger and Charger

They also existed in a wagon format. Someone at Walker GMC in Alexandria used to have one up until recently. It was always parked in the employee parking lot behind their used car lot. I have not seen it in a couple years though. Either he sold it or moved on to somewhere else.

Remember that high dollar early 90s car , Nissan nxs . Wasn’t it a Nissan? They were like 100k

Early 90s trans am ram airs were cool and I have a friend who has one with a thousand horsepower now

Those two door Tahoe’s were kinda weird

I (re)learned in a Ford Fiesta. Longest clutch travel ever. It would engage when your left knee was around your shoulder.
