One thing on my "bucket list" is to meet Mike Tyson. The last time I was in Las Vegas I almost had the opportunity, but it was the day we were coming back home and I would have had to miss our flight..

When you introduce yourself like that, do you say “Jody Plauche” or just “Jody”? It has to be weird to just introduce yourself to someone and they have a look of recognition knowing your backstory.

I NEVER say that to anybody but it was Father's Day but my dad was blowing up on Twitter. She is NOT from here and she said she wasn't familiar with the story...which is why I am pissed I didn't give her a book.

Similar story -
In college I rescued a puppy from the pound in North Baton Rouge. She was the only puppy in the place. I didn’t know it was a girl at the time so I was going to name it Allie or Justin (this is around 2003 with Justin Vincent and Alley Broussard). It was a girl so I named her Allie.
Fast forward years later and I meet Justin Vincent at a meet and greet at the Paragon Casino and tell him this story. He laughed and said your dog was better off bc Broussard was the better athlete lol
