I get these folks are hurting for revenue, but honestly the content is nowhere near good enough for me to be paying for it.
Curious if anyone on TD is actually paying for online subscriptions to:
The Advocate
Baton Rouge Business Report or Daily Report.
Daily Report stories read like they're written by a 10th grader

Anything noteworthy will show up on the OT, and usually someone will have personal knowledge of it.

Nah. TD is my news source.

There is no news worth paying for, especially when they selectively curate what you get to see based on politics and whatever the AP says

Not a chance I would pay to see NOLA.com’s biased, liberal bs. I can do just fine looking up liberal bs for free on cnn if I wanted to.

Hell no. The local newspaper has a paywall on it's website, yet still manages to send me a copy of the Sunday edition even though I never signed up or payed for it

Why do people who never thought twice about paying for a newspaper subscription get so upset about online paywalls for news websites?

My local chattanooga news page is paywall blocked, but if you stop load on the page midway it shows the article before the paywall shows up.
And incognito mode works for websites that allow you to read a number of free pages before having to subscribe.

In Chrome, clear cookies AND site settings every 3 articles to bypass these biased, America-hating propagandist, Commie thieves.
Or use Brave browser.....

hell I wish they'd stop throwing that stupid weekly paper in my front yard that I immediately throw away

Damn right. Only an idiot would PAY Commies to spread biased, liberal propaganda. I only read the Obits and crime reports, comrade.

Nola.com & the advocate are straight trash, I’d rather get my news from ESPNradio.
Not just for the fact that it’s a liberal circle jerk 1/2 the time but their writers suck and editors must not proof read anything.

You may be able to go around the paywall by surfing incognito.

Hell no. I don't read their shite for free, much less pay to read it. I get my news right here. The OT average for a news scoop is twelve hours before the regular media picks up on it.
