Because Facebook and folks with creative internet names provide the news now. HA!

If you like local news that has at least some accountability, through them a couple of bucks. As much as the national media seem to be bogus, local news has a lot of good content (high school sports, local crime, etc.)

I get a paper thrown into my yard every morning. That entitles me to online access.

F anybody who messes with my coffee and newspaper ritual.

Not your problem: Knoxville News Sentinel has come up with 'specials'. The latest, Valentine is Six months for $1.00. But you must read/search for the fine print that does NOT include the "you may cancel at any time" that so many offer.

KNS explains that the rest of your one year subscription will be at almost $9.00 per month.

I miss the old Times Picayune. I wonder who owns all the stories they printed. We saved some that we thought were typical and have them filed as "Lost New Orleans". They could be the least PC book you've ever read.
