Didn’t Eric also own part of all of these? How odd.
Yes. Yes he did.
Eric was a solid dude. I don’t miss tailgating very often anymore, but I do miss swinging by his Tailegate party underneath the PMAC before heading into the stadium.

Not trying to victim shame here, but rule number 1 of Marketplace selling is to never ever ever accept a check, unless it’s a notarized cashier’s check.

And rule 2 is never trust Chad Hughes.

Did he buy all those bars from John Delgado or what was their involvement? It's kinda crazy to think all the bars we would make rounds at in how different they were were just owned by one dude. Who ran for mayor and lost

But the bbq was salty and not good. And the service was bad.
The pizza was expensive, but was okay. and the service was bad.
Too good of a location to not do well.
100%
The pizza was way overpriced but I went there a bunch because it was good and the location was great. The playground was awesome if you have kids.

purchase of a trailer.
I've actually been meaning to ask about this, and whether we could start an update thread on the tailgate trailer saga from a few years ago. I was hoping enough time has passed that we could revisit the final details and outcome of the case

Also, who still uses a paper check to pay for something aside from 82 year old grandmas paying for their $24 worth of groceries?

That guy texted everyone who trolled him threatening to sue for defamation, then promptly blocked the numbers... never heard from him again.

No. He’s bought from multiple different owners that started them/made them successful. Like Happy’s was Jack Warner (and previously with Brandon Landry), B&T was from Chad Diaville who purchased it a few years before from Danny Mcglynn and his group. Others he was part owner with people - but made sure to have his face front and center. He’s also had a number of restaurants that he was a partner with Eric Carnegie in places like Kalurah St grill, The River room, Cecilia, etc. Eric was actually pretty good and knew what he was doing. He died in 2021 and things completely fell apart when he wasn’t there to actually handle everything.

I only know several people who went there for pizza. All said it wasn’t good at all and that they would not go back. I never tried it because of that.
The location is convenient for me. Would be nice to have a place there that is worth going to.

What did you want to know?
The trailer was found.
The trailer was found.

I know that. But was more curious about whether the offender was arrested, did anyone know him, did he post here, was there a court case, did he go to jail, or was it simply give the trailer back and pay a fine...which would've been the most disappointing outcome.

The two allegedly agreed on a price of $20,000 for the trailer and surrounding dumpsters…
For that kind of money, cashiers check only.

Fake cashier’s checks are fairly common.

It was terrible for most of it's operation. They changed the recipe not too long before they closed, and it turned out pretty good. Too little, too late.
