I guarantee you these kids got hit constantly. The problem is there were no teaching moments to go along. The former without the latter is pointless.

Ok, from high ranking political figures all the way down to “child advocate” administrators. The solution would be to remove the problem from the educational environment. They will never do it because of the societal backlash that it would cause. We live in an age where these people will do everything they can to keep the worst behavior problems in the classrooms, good kids be damned.

Said there was a half-year-long project that his students were supposed to complete and if they didn’t, they would fail the class and not be able to graduate. He stayed on the kids that weren’t turning anything in, constantly reminding them that their graduation was in jeopardy. Well, end of the year comes and the same kids didn’t get it done so no graduation. Extensions were granted, nothing was turned in. When they were told they weren’t going to walk in graduation, the previously absent parents showed up at the school and raised hell. Of course, the school caved and offered another extension where he was told they had to pass and they all magically did.

Need to start putting these parents in jail for their kids crimes. Put the root of the problem behind bars. They in jail, they can't get pregnant and produce more future criminals.
