This guy apparently had court the same day with the same judge. 50 years for 2 counts! Hopefully this means Perkins will get life.

The Perkins are being charged with 2 counts of First Degree Rape. According to Louisiana RS 14:42 - Whoever commits the crime of first degree rape shall be punished by life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
I don't see them getting anything less than LIFE!!

From this thread, I heard things about a son. I assumed it was an adopted son, but may have actually been a daughter. I don’t know though, all my info has come from this thread and the linked articles.

There is no “good” victim in these kinds of cases but having it be their own children has to bring it to another level of fricked.

I was super protective of my daughter. It's just too risky to trust your treasure with anyone. And most of the time I'm guessing that no one ever hears of the crime.
Since I posed the question, I did a search and it says that 1 in 5 girls and 1 in 20 boys are a victim of child sexual abuse.
