While I don't know for sure, don't live in LP, but from what I understand Jason Ard is a piece of shite.

Not sure if this is true, but the Perkins dude, I heard that while Ard didn't know about the really bad shite, evidently it was common knowledge in the police department that Perkins would pull women over and at times he would end up having sex with them possibly using giving them a ticket as leverage (that could be complete BS, but Ard seems to overlook a lot of shite).

You hit the nail on the head. He will Run until he gets an office he has no business having.

He ran once for assessor. And your attitude is the problem with this country, I applaud any citizen who has the balls to throw their hat in the ring when they have a calling to serve.

I’ll never understand why people have your mindset that we need to elect career politicians with “experience” to continue the status quo of fckg shite up. Brandon sees the flaws in LE and has been able to remove the blinders caused by the thin blue line. He has the LE experience, amazing leadership and most importantly sees with the eyes of a citizen now who is concerned with the erosion of our constitutional rights.

Brandon has my vote and the vote of everyone I have spoken to.

You’d understand if you researched who that is.

I don’t have the kind set of wanting a career politician. I’m very pro trump and want him back. What I do see as a problem is a man who will keep running for office until he gets one.

Like I said in a previous post is it time
For a change yes. Personally I don’t think browning is the guy. We all have our opinions

“I don’t have the kind set of wanting a career politician.”

Who’s more of a career politician, Ard or Browning considering that Ard will just be wrapping up 12 years as Sheriff in 2023?

“What I do see as a problem is a man who will keep running for office until he gets one.”

It seems like you saying that if someone wants to serve in the public in that capacity that they should just give up after the first attempt. Anyone who will give up after the first attempt didn’t want it bad enough and that’s not the sort of mindset that makes people great. I guess Michael Jordan should have quit after being cut from his High School team. Look at the Sharks on shark tank, go research them and see how many times they failed. If you want to take on the “Good Old Boy System,” you better come hard and keep coming because it will take a chipping away.

That’s one thing that he does bring that Ard can’t, a legitimate citizens perspective to the position which IS NEEDED. Without that, there will continue to be a lack of much needed transparency. Any sheriff that stands before the public and publicly shames another citizen of the parish for pointing out his failure to investigate Dennis Perkins shows the absolute prideful arrogance. That press conference was very revealing. Perhaps you should revisit it and you will see that that was not “public servanthood.” That was “I’m the sheriff and how dare you question me and attempt to hold me accountable.”

I’m not saying to give up after a lose. Most people that lose out of on a election for tax accessor don’t immediately jump into the sheriffs race. He ran that race all about how bad of a job Jeff Taylor was doing and screwing everyone. Now he’s running this race on how bad Jason Ard is.

I’ll repeat myself so you don’t take it as I’m a Jason Ard guy. It’s time for change but in my opinion Browning isn’t the guy and is not in it for the right reasons. This race NEEDS a third qualified candidate to enter the race.

Understood. Do you know what his reasons for running are? Have you spoken to him about or are you assuming?

Would the people of Livingston Parish really re-elect the cum in the cupcakes apologist? Seems like their should be no objection he needs to GTFO.

I’ve spoken with plenty of LPSO friends who have all stated the same reasons he’s running.

I’m currently speaking with him on this message board.

Ah, I see. Perhaps you are, maybe you’re not ;)

There is one element of this that you may not be considering. “LPSO friends” are very regulated in their speech. It’s a culture thing and you will get put in check quickly if you’re not saying the right things. So consider getting the a full perspective before just listening to some who have to speak a certain way or suffer the consequences.

He’s a nice guy, you should consider having a conversation with him and get the real reasons.
