He’s a realtor in LP
I believe he ran for sheriff once & also accessor
I honestly don’t know his complete background so I’m not sure if he has any experience or if he wants to get into politics & will keep running until he wins something

It’s going to take someone with experience & name recognition to have a shot at Ard

Which one lives in the bigger mobile home and I would like to see pics of their wives before I vote one way or the other.

Hate to break it to you but neither live in mobile homes. Jason makes bank being the sheriff. Brandon's step dad could wipe his arse with hundred dollar bills if he wanted to.

Yes Brandon’s dad could but I’ve heard he’s a big Jason supporter in the past. Don’t know how that would work out moving forward

He was, not sure now. I know a retired BRPD officer put his name in a while back. Have not seen much of him lately. I think it was more of a "frick you Brandon " type move

He left so his wife could be a stay at home home school mom. And he remained a reserve deputy until the Sheriff took his commission from him after he said something on a podcast that the Sheriff didn’t like.

He ran for Assesor in 2019. His background is Law Enforcement. He resigned from the Sheriff’s Office at a LT with around 18 years. And since he has ran a parish wide race against a 20 year incumbent and got 44% of the vote, and has a popular podcast in Livingston Parish, I would say he’s got pretty good name recognition.

Apparently the current administration thought he was qualified to some level. They are the ones that bumped him to a Sgt then to a LT. He has just as many years of LE experience or more as Ard did when he took office.

“No business having.” What makes you think he’s not qualified considering his background? Not to mention he’s been a student of Jocko Willink’s company for the last few years..

Ard can pound sand.
I remember the last sheriff election, Ard had some of his stooges in the detective division going door to door in my neighborhood campaigning for him. I started questioning him why he was campaigning for Ard while he was on duty? He said "oh, we're not on duty" so I questioned then, why was he using a Livingston parish vehicle while off duty campaigning for Ard? That's a clear violation of ethics, he said "oh, it's ok, the Sheriff said we could."
He left my door with the quickness after that.

I know Brandon fairly well, and I’m hoping someone else throws their hat into the ring. Definitely not voting Ard.

That said, his wife is a little smokeshow. Also a realtor with pics easily obtainable for research purposes.
