Where 'bouts in Orlando are you talking?

Central FL has a pretty good roads system. Would consider foregoing Orange Co. and living in Brevard Co.

I’d suggest Sanford/Lake Mary

People are suggesting some cool areas, but it means nothing if it is a long way from work. Where, geographically, will you be working? If you work at Disney, and live in Maitland, or Winter Park, you will hate your miserable life after one commute.

There’s a “moving to Orlando” group on Facebook, tons of info and you will get good answers there.

You have to factor in traffic and the hood. School ratings may be deceiving, you’ll need some parent reviews.

Move to Lake County, it's NE of Orlando. A lot more bang for your buck house wise. Schools are decent to good. The area has been growing over the past 15 yrs or so.

The office is off I-4 just south of Altamonte Springs and north of Eatonville.

Altamonte Springs

Lots of good neighborhoods around there. I'd look at Maitland, Wekiva Springs, and Apopka.

That said, being that the office is right off I-4, you can look into Lake Mary and parts of Longwood near Lake Mary.

Lots of good areas there.

Don't live in Eatonville lol.

You cn find a lot of good areas close to there, while still avoiding the misery of the traffic. This also puts you close to Daytona Beach. You can ride out on the weekends and count crackheads.

Brother and SIL relocated there and live in Winter Park

I really like it. Close to everything and he has a ton of good restaurants and places close to WP

3 Rivers BBQ and Jeremiah’s Italian Ice for the win

Based on your work location, Longwood/Lake Mary but prepare for above avg pricing (not sure where you're moving from).

Windemere
Dr Phillips
Winter Garden

...are all very nice areas, but like someone else eluded to, you will hate your life after the first commute.

Is this in reference to Orange Blossom Trail? Back when I was stationed there for bootcamp, A-School and Power School, this is where most of the titty bars and hookers were.

You will regret moving there. Stop. Take stock of your life. This will not be the answer.

There is no infrastructure (traditional definition not OBidens).

It's actually quite nice by the time you get to Mt Dora.
