Living in a neighborhood where the houses are right next to each other is a fricking drag

This shite sucks, I don't know how anyone does it long term.
Can't even let the dog out without following him around or putting him on a leash.

Did you not notice the houses around you before signing the mortgage?

I'm military and the housing market here in Spokane is crazy. Nice houses in my BAH range are hard to find and you aren't getting anything with land unless it's a piece of shite.
Didn't buy because I'm selling another house and didn't want to get caught in a possible bubble here.

And you can't piss outside without someone's camera catching you and the cops being called

I can’t think of a city or town in America that doesn’t have leash laws for dogs. What neighborhood are you living in where dogs just roam freely?
Would your dog approach someone walking their dog with a leash or someone just walking or jogging?

I'm on the other side of the state at JBLM and couldn't be happier. When I first looked at homes in this neighborhood, I loved everything about it except how many homes they tried to stick on the golf course. We are extremely close, but we would have been a lot closer on base. I am lucky enough to have wonderful neighbors on both sides and across the street, plus it is probably ~40% active or retired military on the street.

I like it. Screw driving into work.

Stories of HOA and code violations is why I love living in the country. If I am high as giraffe pussy and decide to dig a pond the only noise I get from the community is "you gonna let me fish that thing when its ready".

My neighbors seem fine so far, but I came from a neighborhood where everyone had an acre lot and you didn't see your neighbors when you walked into the back yard

I don't let him out on his own around here like I did in my previous neighborhood. He's a Yorkie poo... He's not biting anyone.

Same. And both my neighbors are very strange.
Are we neighbors?

Too lazy to attack your feet

Sounds like your wife threw away your best porno mag.

Whoever downvoted me is jelly as hell. Its 2am and if I wanted I could fire up the CAT with a joint and a beer in my hand and no one would notice, much less complain like some nancy.

It’s best to keep them on a leash
A dog sees a cat come out of the woodwork and they’re apt to take off chasing it.
My last dog got ran over and killed in that scenario.
It’s the worst thing I’ve ever witnessed because it was my fault for not having her leashed

It sucks. My neighbor had been hitting on me hard and we live like 20 feet from each other. Sucks that he’s a dude

You should just go with it. You might like it.
