Living in a neighborhood where the houses are right next to each other is a fricking drag

I'm on the other side of the state at JBLM and couldn't be happier. When I first looked at homes in this neighborhood, I loved everything about it except how many homes they tried to stick on the golf course. We are extremely close, but we would have been a lot closer on base. I am lucky enough to have wonderful neighbors on both sides and across the street, plus it is probably ~40% active or retired military on the street.

Stories of HOA and code violations is why I love living in the country. If I am high as giraffe pussy and decide to dig a pond the only noise I get from the community is "you gonna let me fish that thing when its ready".

I don't let him out on his own around here like I did in my previous neighborhood. He's a Yorkie poo... He's not biting anyone.

Nah. I grew up on 40+ acres of land, that shite gets boring. Now I live in a city, and I'm much closer to amenities. If I want privacy, I just go in my back yard.
