Anyone else do this? I have my headset on my left ear and earpiece in my right ear pumping in music. It makes my day go by so much faster and it calms stress a bit.

Don't let the manager catch you, this is against Burger King policy.

i read an article a while back about how multitasking is bullshite, but it specifically said one thing that you can do while performing cognitive functions is listening to instrumental music (of any genre)

I am my own manager now. Got tired of working for the man at Burger King.

I don't listen while working but I listen to ambient/electronic music and film scores while doing my online classes.

I play piano soft jazz in my classroom all day. The kids get accustom to it. I find it keeps us all calm and engaged. For ADHD people like my students and I, it frees up the brain from 1 task.

I've read that the really complicated symphonic type pieces with all the different movements or melodies going on simultaneously stimulates electrical activity in the brain significantly. That's said to be a huge benefit to the developing brain of a baby and a lesser but still significant boost to an adult brain. So by my reasoning shouldn't you find that same benefit in something like Funkadelic with all their competing lines? (I'm not sure on my terminology here. Melody, movement, line, rhythm, lots of stuff going on simultaneously.)

That's not my profession. Although I wouldn't mind venturing into that one day. Tons of cash, few taxes, and I'd get to work outside doing what I love.

I'd be lying if I said I haven't considered it multiple times. I'd be one of the few lawn guys around with a university degree

I'm at the office listening to Megan's Tina Snow album from last year and waiting for the next RallyTiger babe thread to drop.

Been my jam for the last couple of months. It's much better than Fever.
