Chickfila has announced. Most of these businesses on list are at Long Farm and/or not happening at Lee & Burbank. Not sure where OP got his info.

There's also Starbucks and Atomic Burger at Lee & Burbank.

Lee and Burbank? They'd print money there. So would CC's Coffee.

Do you know where I can find a site plan for this project?

Will be coming up in the next Planning Commission meeting. I think they have info on their agendas.

Rock & Roll Sushi is opening a location @ Perkins and Acadian in Calitors center. End cap behind the bank facing the parking lot.

White Star market has 8-10 "restaurants" hoping to open by the end of summer but I don't see that happening.

I heard Chuy's is supposed to be coming to BR - not sure of location. Heard this from the bartender at the Chuy's in Lafayette.

They would do well in the right location. Maybe Siegen or Perkins.

We have a few new Me So Horny hand job massage shops opening up all over BR.

Still can't believe these places aren't shut down.

French Truck Coffee out of NOLA .... should instantly be at the top of the coffee scene there.

There is a new music venue as well opening in an old church. BR certainly needs it.

I've heard good things. I think they are opening on Government Street near Radio Bar.

There have been a lot of new distribution centers and industrial expansions in north Baton Rouge in the past couple of years.

I think the north Baton Rouge politician crowd seems to want hire end retail (despite the demographic realities in the area) and overlooks the lucrative industrial and distribution job opportunities in the area.

They want what SBR has, but will never get it because boutiques don't accept EBT and they'd steal everything anyway.

Yea, it'd be better for the city if they would try to make more of an effort up there. Not so one sided.

Putting a strip mall with several places, including Mooyah, on Lee by Boone.

North Baton Rouge can't even support a Starbucks. There was one on Airline near Tom next to Home Depot....it went out of business within 18 months.

The political BS and racial discourse isn't helping north Baton Rouge.

I do think more retail (pharmacy, grocery, c-stores) could be attracted to Airline north of Florida, but we have to make Airline highway a realistic commuter route again. It is too narrow and barely moves. There are still at-grade crossings at rail road tracks there.

Choctaw faces a similar problem.

Disagree. I say put a Zoe's at the north gates (like where they're putting another bullshite bar currently) and it will kill. White girls love that shite.

I always thought a true club would do well downtown.
