So if they sustain an injury, they've broken the terms of service and the company isn't liable. It's pretty simple stuff here

This is the typical small town Louisiana dumbass shite. Nearly every major metro has embraced these things, and they've been affordable alternatives to driving a car. They've helped traffic. Yet, the arse backwards people in Louisiana resist any kind of change.

No, it's actually common sense...which Mingo has shown us time and time again (with his ignorant posts like this one) that he has none.

That. I was going to do Mechanics on Bird. Had already did all the back and forth.
Pretty sweat deal.
I would birder too, pick up and charge. I have a 2000w inverter in my van so I can mobile charge.
Was going to be a way to pick up an extra few bucks.

Glad I didn't. I started doing stand mixers and have little free time now.

I went with him repair some this weekend, they paid him $15 each to tighten up the neck bolts on a few. The ones that he couldn't repair they paid $5 each to drop at their storage facility.

I was doing the charger deal hoping to make an extra ~$50 or so on nights my wife worked late and I had time to kill....I ended up making $150-$200 a night for about 2 hours work. It was gravy.

There are already two class action lawsuits against the scooter companies.

One for injuries suffered due to the scooters and their riders, and another against both the city and its companies for violating the ADA.

Look, Scruffy has no issues with the ideas of these scooters, but these companies just dumped them on the streets.

There was zero preparation or planning.

Some of these cities do not have the appropriate infrastructure to allow for these on the roads.

Hell, Lafayette streets are barely wide enough for cars, let alone scooters.

Yes, every major metropolitan area in this country is wrong, and Lafayette Louisiana built on the back of 96 month financed F250s and cyclical unemployment is correct.

So, it is mandatory that you wear a helmet while riding one? You can’t rent one without a helmet?

Mingo omitted that part of your question, but no. You don't have to prove you have a helmet to rent one. They tell you to wear a helmet but aren't forcing you to do so, saying "wear a helmet" is more of a CYA for when someone falls and gets a head injury.

False.

Per Lime, they only recommend a helmet.

Scruffy is surprised they haven’t been sued yet.

They're every where in Dallas and there is a noticeable difference of cars on the streets in the downtown all the way to SMU area. They have been a huge net positive

are you pretending that no major metro areas have had issues or controversies with these scooters?

What do scooters, increased traffic flow, and decreased wrecks have to do with politics?

You can look it up and considering I live in work in the downtown area and that I've seen a noticeable decrease in traffic, I disagree.
