So for those who don’t know, Life 360 is an app that tracks everyone in the family’s movement. It covers location, top speed, accident awareness, etc. A lot of kids don’t like it because it lets their parents track their location. So some kid on Tik Tok, a popular kids video sharing app, told his millions of followers that getting the Life360 App Store rating to a one star would get it booted and the app would be deleted. So now over the course of a few days, it has gone down from 5 stars to 3 with 500K new reviews. I know kids don’t like it but I think overall it’s good for them in the long run, even if some helicopter parents use it. Also, the developers probably work their arse off on the app, and now the could lose their jobs thanks to a bunch of teenagers. Do you think this kid who started it has a lawsuit coming his way? Do you agree with the teenagers who want it gone? Personally I think if you have nothing to hide you shouldn’t worry, and I hope the kid gets sued. Coming from someone who didn’t have anything like Life 360 growing up.

Fwiw yes I smoked weed and went to parties and stuff and my parents didn’t care as long as I didn’t get in trouble and did good in school. Also I guess I’m biased because it helped out my neighbor when she got in a bad accident. Guess I’m in the wrong here though

When I have kids there's no way I track their location. That can't be healthy. Kids will go places they shouldn't and do things they shouldn't. You raise em right and teach them appropriate boundaries. That's all part of growing up. If I had a buzzer that rang every time I did something my parents shouldn't know about I'm not sure how stunted my growth would end up. Good lord.

You would think parents that are worried enough to put life 360 on their child's phone wouldn't let tik tok on there. I guess I'm wrong with that though.

You don't have to check it religiously. But it's a good safety net to have in place.

Since you're clearly not getting it, you do well in school... not good.

I have a feeling most have these as a way to see where the wife is, not the kids.
