Title of the article says it all. 12 cases of the Covid variant confirmed in a city of 2 million people and preparing for ‘mass casualties’.
We’ve officially reached a point of zero faith in political ‘leaders’ and media. This coming from a major news outlet in Austin.

I swear to all, if people that were against this media propaganda we’re 1/1000 as motivated and active as those on the left these thing could be less radical. But no, most consider things like sending emails, making phone calls and the like to be petty; ineffective or whatever.

I don’t know about variants and all that mess. Here is what I do know. My 17 year old son tested positive for Covid yesterday. He’s not sick just says he can’t taste his food. My 21 year old daughter also tested positive Sunday and she’s sick as a dog. They chose not to take the vaccine. I’m 51, caught Covid in 2020, took the vaccine when I could at a later date, and I tested positive for Covid yesterday but don’t feel too terribly bad.
I will say this. Here in Daphne, AL and Baldwin County this Covid is making a comeback. It took 4 hours to get tested because there were so many people saying they were sick. Mobile is also seeing an uptick in new Covid cases. I am so sick of this damn virus, frick China, and you are damned if you do and damned if you don’t on this vaccine debate.
I’m assuming all these tourist headed to the beaches aren’t helping matters but it’s fact more people are piling off into these hospitals lately around here. Guess it’s survival of the fittest and I hope the country doesn’t overreact to this crap because shutting everything down again is not a good idea.
