“LHSAA sent a memo to all member principals & ADs at 6:15pm. The state epidemiologist recommended there be a suspension of extracurricular activities due to the new variant. The LHSAA will NOT be issuing a concurrent recommendation for suspension of extracurricular competitions.”
“AGAIN, to avoid misinformation, the LHSAA will NOT be shutting down sports due to the recommendation of the state epidemiologist and the LDH. Happy New Year!”

JBE has lost a lot of power. It doesn't look like it on the surface but his political clout has eroded big time in the last 12 months.
The special session was a failure but JBE couldn't stop it from happening

LHSAA has more balls than our republican legislators

I couldn't imagine shutting down basketball games and baseball practices right now. It's been 2 years to stop the spread.

Nobody recognizing the gov’s attempt to subdue them. He will have to outright shut it down (or try) and he doesn’t want to do that. People are done with this shite and he knows it.

It means that LHSAA has told JBE you ain’t bout it, bitch.

It means the Louisiana high school sports are moving forward. I assume the only obstacle for an individual team will be the local school board. But the other schools/teams will be playing

It means that we may finally be getting away from letting the village Shaman rule our lives.

Did the LHSAA basically just say, "frick that slimy cocksucker."?

People are tired of this BS.
When the symptoms of this are nothing more than a common cold, the thought to shutting everything down is complete horse shite.
Feel off? Take some DayQuil, you will be fine

that being said, we still have a lot of swampy if not leftist principals, superintendents, school board members, and BESE members in public schools
