Once again the kids are getting more and more things taken from them because of JBE's moving goalposts. It was only supposed to be long enough to not overwhelm the system.

The system is not overwhelmed, The only reason hospitalizations are up is because the state lumps all Covid Positives as someone who is hospitalized for Covid.

I am sick of this and feel so bad for all these kids. They are having to follow rules the rule makers do have to follow.

It's crazy that maybe it'll take high school sports for people to finally tell JBE to frick off.

I played for Covington High. He’s at St. Paul’s. If it was 25 years ago then we either know each other or played against one another.

This. Maybe this will actually apply pressure on him. The number of people who are going to protest this is going to be staggering. The very people he THINKS he is protecting are going to revolt and say they WANT their kids to play because the virus won't hurt them even if they get it.

If you want to add a little fuel to it, just remember that coaches will most probably still get their stipends even if there is no season

Angry, confused, etc. Then again if I didn't like it that much, maybe not that bad.

My point was just ask him before you assume. Hear what he has to say before you worry about what to tell him.

Then be honest with him about how you feel--angry, confused, etc. If you don't know what to tell him, tell him that you don't know what to tell him.

At least a glimmer of hope....selects have been discussing options for leaving the LHSAA since the split happened....so if anyone could leave the LHSAA and start a viable alternative in the fall it would be selects.

I surely wish there was a way to quantify the amount of scholarship money and NFL money that some athletes will lose as a result of not playing this season....that lawsuit would probably kill that stupid arse LHSAA once and for all.

Unfortunately I can't fathom a way the players effected could be determined or the amount of money could be quantified.

College coaches will go off of junior year videos. It will suck for the kids that didn't play until their senior year but there's not that many of them.

I'd be stunned if any football is played on any level, sub-NFL, anywhere this year. Everyone is going to end up on the same level.

There are plenty of kids that start getting noticed with the increased PT that comes with being a senior.

We're all entitled to our opinions but I'd be stunned if college football doesn't happen in some way shape or form....if it doesn't there will be universities that will have to turn the lights off and lock the doors.

This is so sad. I have a daughter who is so upset she won’t get to dance at the football games on a Friday night for her senior year. JBE is never going to move us to phase 3 let alone some unmentioned phase 4. This is just terrible.

Isn't every team drill at practice an "intrasquad scrimmage"?

So I guess they can run group drills but not 11 v 11?

How many commits does LSU already have for class of 21? Most of the class is filled. Between commits and offers out, it's just about the entire class.

Yes, there are few exceptions, more for smaller colleges, and that absolutely sucks for them. But, my point is, those colleges still have to offer someone, right?

God, I’m sooo ready for this nonsense to just end.

It’s like the suck just keeps on sucking, but none of it in a good way.
