Looks like cross country is about to get real popular. Overdue, IMO.

Maybe phase 4 has no more social distancing requirement

Phase 4 is 100% normal like we were back in January 2020

Wish professional wrestling was as good right now as it was in the mid south 80s and wwf late 90s

Yes, phase 4 basically opens everything.

So those sports are supposed to wait for society to get back to normal,.......pfffft

hopefully these kids grow up to resent government control and appreciate individual liberty.

Not likely, they will get the full-on "let the government do it" treatment at university.

I surely wish there was a way to quantify the amount of scholarship money and NFL money that some athletes will lose as a result of not playing this season....that lawsuit would probably kill that stupid arse LHSAA once and for all.

Unfortunately I can't fathom a way the players effected could be determined or the amount of money could be quantified.

Any school that’s worth a damn should leave the LHSAA. Create a league with all the best publics and privates and allow free recruiting.

My son is a senior this year. This is heart breaking. Football was such a big part of my life, and I have such great memories of senior year. He doesn’t like it as much as I did but he’s put in twice the work with as hard and as long as they train these days. I don’t know what to say to him.

One thing you could tell him is that no matter how much he wants to, what other candidates were supposed to have done in their personal life, or what somebody else tells him never, ever ever ever ever, vote for a Democratic governor in LA.

Kids are at zero risk (for practical purposes).

This is mind boggling.

It flabbergasts me how these idiots just ignore data.

They operate off of anecdotal evidence.

Well, time for the schools to tell LHSAA that they're not the fricking law and band together to ignore them. Same as if the NCAA tries to pull some bullshite.

Who the frick does that PRIVATE VOLUNTARY MEMBERSHIP organization think they are to ALLOW people to do anything?

ALLOW?!

frick them.

So you want the school principals, who can't pour the piss out of a boot if the instructions are written on the heel, to withdraw membership and form a new association, in weeks?

good luck.

Have you asked him how he feels about it?

If this situation has been good for anything, it’s made it very easy to prove to my kids the ineptitude of government and that liberals are trying to destroy this country.

That fact that that is 100% true is so sad that you can't do anything but laugh about it.
