I will be sending this letter to Mitch. Feel free to add, criticize, or label me anything you like; I gave my last frick away years ago.

Get rid of this racist symbol of slavery

Mitch,

In your quest for self-righteousness, don’t be selective. There are symbols in New Orleans that are far more representative of slavery than Beauregard and Lee. The Sugar Bowl is one that comes to mind.

The game’s original stadium was built on land where Étienne de Boré (first mayor of New Orleans) became the first person in La Louisiane to crystallize sugar into granules. Etienne de Bore is credited with developing the process of making granulated sugar.

De Bore settled on a plantation six miles above New Orleans where Audubon Park is now located and planted indigo, which the insects repeatedly destroyed, while his slaves sickened of fever and died.

Take this Memorial down!

The harvesting and production of sugar cane was labor-intensive, and that fueled the slave trade. By the 1860s, the sugar industry was using 300,000 slaves.

So, in the words of JFK, choose to do things not because they are easy, but because they are hard. Rid the city of this contemptible glorification of evil and have the Sugar Bowl renamed.

While you are at it, have the de Boré 100+ year old Tree of Life at Audubon Park taken down; screw the Live Oak Society, right? More on that later.

Cut this tree down!

And, of course, we MUST get rid of Tulane University!!!

Now that I think about -- that's a cause I could definitely get behind!

I say a movement to rip down all houses and structure built by slave labor, sharecroppers, indentured servants, etc. That would really throw off the sjws who live in their shotgun houses uptown.

Judge Chamberlain Haller:
Mr. Gambini, that is a lucid, well thought-out, intelligent objection.

Vinny Gambini:
Thank you.

Judge Chamberlain Haller:
Overruled.

This isn't about me. But yes, I am upset with hypocritical, tyrannical politicians.

Uh oh. Audubon's family owned slaves. Time to erase some more NO history....

quote:

Audubon was born in Haiti on his father's sugarcane plantation.

Nevermind! It turns out the Audubon was an illegal immigrant to the US. MOAR statues from the Democrats!

In 1803, his father obtained a false passport so that Audubon could go to the United States

at this rate, we're on our way to getting rid of New Orleans altogether. Is that a bad thing?

And then there would be zero quality universities in the state! It would just go back to it's original name- THE UNIVERSITY OF LOUISIANA!

Just rename the state. Louisiana was a part of the Confederacy and that's highly offensive to me.

Please add a paragraph or two about the slave symbol called the Fluer De Lis, Tulane University, and Moon Landrieu.

Also we need to slash and burn and redistribute all Louisiana farm land
