Maybe he just went to some tiny little 1A school. Mine were probably more expensive than most because my HS yearbooks were there size of college textbooks

My yearbook was $25 in 1994.
At the school I where I teach, they were being sold for $40 at the beginning of the year.
Not too bad IMO.

Sounds more like the Columbia House Record and Tape Club. Good old negative option billing. Only the scummiest of scum use it.

My kid's yearbooks are $80 as well. Back in my day, we called them "annuals" and they cost $20. Of course, most of the pictures were in black and white. Like most things...if people weren't willing to pay that much, they wouldn't charge that much. The market drives the price.

Well when you have so many people choosing special effects backgrounds, its gets a bit pricey
