No. Those are chores you give to children to keep them busy. These are not the contributions of an adult who wants to be respected as a worthwhile contributor to a marriage.

Your insecurity is showing again.

Let me guess. You do the dishes, clean, cook dinner? Maybe water the flowers?
are these not contributions?
Not ones that justify not working.

I understand the SAHM with young kids who aren't in school, but once they are school age WTF do they do all day when the kids are out of the house?
And
at saying that they contribute by cooking, cleaning, etc. My wife does that too, plus she has a job.

My ex took a couple years off to figure out what he wanted to do. He ended up severely depressed & stayed drunk or in bed all the time. It destroyed our marriage. People need purpose & routine.

Dad kind of implies children

I get it. This is your go-to line when you say something stupid like “isn’t watering flowers a contribution to a marriage.”

Troll Facebook for BBC and complain how their husbands don't treat them like a princess anymore.

Men who don't have a natural inclination or desire to achieve more or become greater than are not men at all.

Hopefully tending to the house, staying in shape, and doing a part time job.
In my ideal world, my wife would still be able to pick the kids up at 3pm and take them home or to practice/lessons. Have dinner ready.
I wouldn't want my kids staying in aftercare at school.

It is my go-to because all of your threads reek of insecurity.

I agree. This thread isn’t about men though. It’s about the fact that we wouldn’t accept that behavior from men, so why do we accept it from women while also listening to how they aren’t being treated as equals.

I'm planning on semi-retiring around 35 to take care of the upcoming little Sun God so the wife can run her businesses. I've saved up a lot of dough though so it's not like I will only depend on her. Counting down the days

I don't get that at all from his threads. That's why I don't get the pecker haters on here. His threads create dialogue, express his opinions without taking himself too seriously, and often are quite entertaining.
I think you are just projecting.

There are orphans and shite that get rich. Your kids not gonna remember you staying at home and fingerpainting instead of working if they're less than 5 years old

To be fair, culture dictates they have to do the heavy lifting in terms of childbirth. Now how much their spouse values that typically determine the path forward.

I don't hate Pecker. I generally enjoy his threads.

Me and my wife both work. None of this applies to my life. I'm not sure what I'm projecting.

I would have to do something. Like start a business or something. Staying at home is fun for a day or so, but then you get bored, restless, and eventually just depressed.
If my wife made enough for me not to work, I would go all in on a business idea we’ve been kicking around for a couple years.
