"One of the passengers, Thomas Burnett, Jr., told his wife over the phone that “I know we’re all going to die. There’s three of us who are going to do something about it. I love you, honey.” Another passenger—Todd Beamer—was heard saying “Are you guys ready? Let’s roll” over an open line. Sandy Bradshaw, a flight attendant, called her husband and explained that she had slipped into a galley and was filling pitchers with boiling water. Her last words to him were “Everyone’s running to first class. I’ve got to go. Bye.”"

Well that fricked up my morning and filled it with onions...

I have seen and done some pretty heroic shite as a 20 plus year combat arms soldier. But those guys have my utmost respect. Balls of steel.

United 93 is one of the most harrowing films I've ever watched.

The theater was as quiet as a morgue afterwards.

It is amazing what these people went through and we're willing to sacrifice themselves to save an untold number of lives.

May God continue to bless all those families

It's a hard day all these years later, all these miles away. I try to do something nice even if for myself on 9/11 each year -- again this year, I bought myself white roses this morning.
