That warning north of Bruce, MS looks more defined than anything I’ve seen in the area so far

Well it appears this is all gonna just be a bunch of rain and some wind then.

The squall line was always the main threat today. It could bring damaging straight line winds and numerous embedded tornadoes.

I dont have a battery powered radio anywhere in my house. Not sure why considering all the times in a year my power goes out.

New tornado watch

And here we go.

Wind starting to pick up as I got home. Just had walked in and put all my stuff down and a big ol gust hit the house. Sounded pretty gnarly. I have some big pine trees I've been wanting to get rid of and this shite works on my nerves when this kind of weather moves through at night.

Good luck to everyone.

Both of those rotations near Bruce are likely to put one down.

I’m a weird guy who has like three hometowns, they’ve already warned one in Walls, MS. Now they have the other which is technically west of Bruce

Not liking the pattern for later on when it gets to Tennsippibama

The sky is noticeably brighter in the last five minutes and the cat has stood down and is now poking her head behind the curtains to look outside. It's still pissing rain, but it's not as ominous looking as it was. Looks like we're getting to the back side of it, at least in Mid-City.

Good luck for those of you more north and east who are going to get it going forward.

Crazy that all this is happening with virtually no lightning strikes, hail, and relatively low topped storms

Just shows the conditions we are dealing with
