You remind me of Elmo, who also speaks in third person.

I always laugh at that Family guy where the guys can detect in change in the thermostat. 1-2 degrees too much either way and I come running

I live alone and keep my ac on 76. I hate any cold weather whatsoever. Anything below 72 degrees is freezing.

We keep it on 68 but she will turn it down all the time

Surely at 80 she has to be walking around naked or damn close. Is she hot? Is she hot and sweaty?

My AC guy told me not to do this, that the unit has work harder (and use more energy) to get the temp down drastically from 80 than it does keeping a steady state temp during the day

Your AC guy is an idiot. It takes less energy to go from 80 to 79 when the outside temperature is higher than it does to go from 70 to 69.

Same. 78-79. Even when it's 100 outside it still feels very comfortable inside, esp with the ceiling fans on.

Tell her to get her arse in the kitchen, the oven is warm.

Thermostat stays at 68 degrees year round at my residence, and I hate it.
I swear I've awoken a few times to frostbite on my lower extremities.
With all the fans in the house on high...
