I have a 30 year old daughter in law with a 4 year old child. She is a great mother and lovely person. She and my son divorced, but both are wonderful people. The little girl is number one on her list, but she will someday make someone a great wife.
You sad sacks don't get it. Her primary responsibility is the protection of her 4 year old. That is what mothers do.
You don't want to date a woman with a beautiful child, it is your loss. There are many such great people out there who out of no fault of their own, find themselves in tough spots.

Don't think you intended that for me, I'm on your side in this argument.
I have a 33 year old daughter with a 14 year old son and a 6 month old son. Fortunately, the father of the 6 month old didn't think like the idiots on this page. Also, my mother has had the misfortune of being widowed 3 times now, twice by the age of 35. My father looked beyond her having 3 kids, including one handicapped, and married her. I, for one, am happy about that

And my wife was willing to marry a man who had 2 children in his custody as well, so that goes both ways.

What does she do to financially care for her child? I ask because many single mothers look for a partner to cover them and their child's bills. Make no mistake, if she does not work she will decide how the money that he brings in will be spent. She will make sure her child has plenty and then some. This will occur while retirement funds are ignored.
Many guys will pay all the bills and then realize when they are 60 that they spent all their retirement money raising somebody else's child.

Is being a divorced parent that shares custody pretty evenly qualify someone as a single father or single mother?
I feel like a single father is someone who does it all on their own. The mother died, ran off, whatever.

The sex can definitely be top notch. You just have to look out for the women that are looking for a new father or want someone to fix their screwed up lives. I was having a good time with one and then she started hitting me up for money. Didn't give her anything but I did tell her how to fix her particular problem. Fixing the problem was something she couldn't comprehend. That told me she uses people and has no clue how to manage life. Caught one more nut, moved on.

Single moms sometimes are more thirsty and will put in that extra little bit of work.
