Kurunda or pretty much any like this style as long as it is quality material is what a lot of shelters want. Easy to clean and long lasting.

Whatever you do, consider buying one from West Paw Design. The dog beds they makes are built to last and come with a great warranty.

I haven't had a dog yet that wouldn't destroy a dog bed. My rat terrier chewed a hole the size of his head in his last bed (fairly nice one) and slept inside the thing like a damn groundhog. I got tired of all the stuffing getting everywhere when he'd climb out, so I just started using the cheap fleece throws from Academy in his kennel. He seems to like them.

We bought Kuranda beds for the big dogs. They have lasted for two years now. If it is not a chewer, you might get the padded cover for it.

I don't know anything about this bed but they advertise all the time on Howard Stern which I thought was funny. Also has a 100 day free trial like the human mattress.

I just bought a couple with memory foam from Amazon, haven't unboxed them yet, but I plan to today.
