Or we could just, ya know, let people believe whatever the hell they want without pushing our personal religious beliefs on them...

I was raised Catholic but that entire church is a shitshow and I just don’t care to believe in made up stories of 2000-10000 years ago. I don’t know if that makes me an Athiest but I just don’t really care.

exactly...it is odd that we have such a strong desire to convince (or force) others to "believe" as we do.

no one ever said the universe came from nothing. there's no shame in admitting ignorance, but there is shame in making up a bunch of nonsense to appease your ego

When God said "Let there be light", how did He know what light was since it didn't exist yet?

And how long did He just hang around in the dark before saying "I can't see shite around here...I need to get around to doing something about that!

The Bible’s calling card is something significant happen every 2000 years. Time is running out for the Bible to be a supernatural book. Once 2000 years has passed since Jesus ascendened and doesn’t come back, the Bible will just be an ordinary self help book.

99.999% of people in the world are actually agnostic.

Everybody hopes for certain things.

Most people attempt to pray in certainty.

Some people attempt to talk in certainty at coffee shops because it makes them feel smart and empowered.

But none of us really know. We are all just waiting to find out.
