Along those lines… anyone else remember the old Root Beer and Banana popsicles they’d package together? I never totally understood that combination.

My grandfather was in the dairy industry. Each summer when we were kids he would drop an ice chest full of novelties off. You name it - we had it lasted us all summer, nothing better as a kid screwball, bomb pop, ice cream sandwich etc good stuff good memories

If I recall there were a few different flavors with the cream filling. Maybe Orange, lime, or grape. I wasn't crazy about those as a kid.
