Hey let's just trust a bunch of kids under 18 to make the right decision and not get pregnant. That line of thinking totally won't backfire! Kids never make mistakes!

And the kid female will still be able to get an abortion.

OP wants the unlimited power to declare which abortions are good and which are bad.

But that’s really about power, isn’t it?

Then we should probably just kill the teenagers. They sound like an awful inconvenience.

Honestly, if babies were born as teenagers, we probably would

Yes. I have gotten pregnant 3 times and had 3 kids. But I’m also not stupid and was responsible until I wanted one.

You gonna adopt some of these unwanted babies, correct?

And you wont mind when your taxes are raised to support more unwanted children, correct?

don't know if that is accurate, but based on my high school and college experience it was damned near impossible to try to get someone pregnant

Actions have consequences but for decades we have lived in a society that has a reset button. Don’t like being married, get a divorce. Don’t want to be a mom but can’t figure out how to not get pregnant despite all the possible resources available, get an abortion.

Maybe taking abortion as an option away from ignorant people it will make them reconsider their choices more. Teenage pregnancy will likely go up though because kids are stupid. Laws will adapt to take rape and health of the mom into consideration in most states. This girl I grew up with had 3 abortions before she graduated high school and had to go across state lines for one because she was so far along. She laughed about them all and even joked that if she got pregnant she would just have another abortion. If it wasn’t an option her attitude would have changed quickly.

Agree.

And unfortunately I know of a couple women who *severely* regret the abortions, and whose mental health has been profoundly affected by the decision.

The statistics accepted by both pro-abortion and pro-life organizations bear you out on this. Health concerns threatening the life of the mother are real but rare.

Studies in 1987 and 2004 listed reason necessitating abortion as concerns relating to the health of the mother in 2.8 percent and 4.0% of the cases respectively.

“Health of the mother” did not differentiate between a “medically necessary” abortion performed to save the mother’s life and other medical conditions or issues not posing a danger to the mother’s life.

Extrapolate from that what you will, but it appears the category “health of the mother” has been used to imply “medically necessary” thereby disingenuously creating a broader statistical justification to make abortion seem reasonable and acceptable. Despite statistical legerdemain, the percentage remained small.

As you said however, personal issues, not medical ones have driven abortion and created the market for racially targeted industrialized murder of infants for profit.

To be fair, you are pulling a fictitious stat completely out of your arse without a shred of research. Do better. Be better.

And, pro-choice folks are “sick in the head”? Oh, fricking please.
