If by “goth” you mean she’s gaining weight and not wearing larger sized clothing to cover it up, then yes, she’s been going goth for a while.
But I see she’s also getting into hair dyed black, heavy eyeliner, and dark clothing, and I believe that’s for the same reason teenagers do it: they realize they’re not in the popular crowd.
