Fox 8 fake news?
Sidney Torres and IV Waste filed a lawsuit in St Bernard Parish alleging that Zurik and Fox 8 conspired with another sanitation company to present “journalism” that led to the city of Kenner taking a contract away from IV Waste and giving it to the other company
IV Waste had facts, figures, and documentation to present to Fox 8 before they aired reports under the title “Talking Trash”, especially the ones on 5-10-22 and 2-15-23
It kind of puts into doubt a lot of what else Lee Zurik has produced over the years

I know Sydney has been one of Latoya’s biggest supporters
And has done her dirty work a bit
And has profited greatly from her (see sketchy mid city complex variances and our super awesome 1 time a week trash pickups at twice a week rates processed by the mayor and a laundry list of othe zoning stuff on smaller projects)

The only thing I'm absolutely sure of is Sydney Torres made the French Quarter clean and smell nice circa 2009-11. He may be a spoiled brat but he got shite done. If he's corrupt he should be prosecuted just like anybody else.

Torres filed it exactly where he could. If he doesn't win this case in St Bernard then he will destroy whatever image he has left.

Zurik has credibility. I don’t think there is any chance that he would knowingly conspire with another garbage contractor to contrive a story to help rig a deal.
Torres has a lot of money and will go to great lengths to trash fox 8 and zurik. He can and will throw a lot of shade, smoke, and even grenades to confuse things.

Nah. I know the ins and outs of that Kennah land trash deal and it was shady AF, just like Ben, Nicky, and the whole band crooked fricks in that administration.
