I am talking about a person who has no appreciable ability but has enjoyed tremendous success either financial or otherwise.
1. Any one of the Kardashians?
2. That goofy YouTube kid who keeps getting his account suspended? (Filmed the suicide body in Japan)

I know a guy who dropped out his senior year and started welding. Dude had it right. Started making 60k a year at 17 and is way ahead of most of us in that class. Had no talent but was smart enough to realize that college wasn't for him and got an opportunity. Respeck.

She sang horribly when she first came out. I don't know if she has now trained her voice.. or maybe chosen better songs for her voice.. but she is much better now than she was.
From what I've read, enough of the right training can make anyone's voice decent and turn a decent voice into an incredible one.

Kristofferson was a helicopter pilot for PHI in Lafayette when he wrote that.
I can just imagine him on a majestic fricking bender and hurrying to get back to the hangar because some baws were gonna be waiting on him to fly them out to a platform and then writing that opening line sitting in the cockpit waiting on the crew, hungover as frick, and praying they'd be finished quick so he could get back on shore and have some hair of the dog.
Also, he's literally a Rhodes Scholar who holds a degree in English Literature from Oxford University. After that, he joined the Army, learned to fly, and ended up making the rank of captain. Oh, he also was an Army Ranger.
He's one interesting dude.
