I’ll give ya that on climb out, but usually when we get bigger into those cold temps we blown all the water off the flight surfaces or and moisture we are fling through is ice crystals not actually water anymore to worry about…
You’re expecting what’s normal and yes how it usually is. What if tonight there was a large temp drop right off the ground with a frontal system moving through. I haven’t looked that much into it to know either way… put ice on a tail can cause that dive and that’s what the guy asked how a plane could end up in a dive like that
We both agree mechanical something seems most likely

And why leave Philadelphia to go to Springfield. MO for medical treatment.

I'm guessing it'll end up being something related to a bad safety and work culture and cost cutting at the company.

Plane had Mexican registration
On-board explosion
Spatial disorientation
Loss of elevator control
Control surface separation
Tail separation
Runaway trim
Sabotage

That was a hell of an explosion to be a small plane.
That’s what I was thinking.
Why did it appear to be coming apart? It almost looked like reentry breakup.

This is literally a little too close to home! I could drive there in 15 mins and shop in that area. That’s scary AF.

Either my joke wasn’t as good as I thought it was or it’s going over peoples heads. Likely the first one. Oh whale.

Learjet 55 can hold just about 1000 gallons of fuel.

Yes that’s why there was a massive fireball

And for the long trip it had to be that full… so a guy just called the news and said something about tons of geese fly in that area.. one could have got in an engine.

I quit closely following when it began to appear to me that I was just another 'useful idiot', being trained to blame my neighbors for my problems, so I wouldn't notice the people enriching themselves at my expense, and, even worse, would waste time and effort actually defending whichever crooks pushed my buttons better.
I used to be really interested in politics growing up but the state of things now has turned me off of it completely. The back and forth and making every little incident be me vs you from both sides is exhausting.
Carlin had it right- it's a big club and you ain't in it.

Fuel starvation =/= fuel exhaustion
You can have fuel starvation with full tanks.

A plane most likely wouldn't go down like that even if it lost both engines.

Losing one on takeoff can be problematic according to a pilot here.
